One of the most popular ways to make extra money online and offline is called Mystery Shopping. Since it’s so popular, there’re hundreds of scams out there that make you pay money to mystery shop. Make sure you never pay money to mystery shop, it’s completely free to sign-up for shops, but some shops might require you to make a purchase that they’ll refund.
Since there’re so many scams, I’ve put together a list of 23 legitimate ways to get paid to mystery shop. Some of these sites offer in-person shops, in person with apps, and even over the phone!
Keep in mind that mystery shopping is just extra income, don’t expect to make a full-time income, but it can be a fun way to make a little extra cash.

In Person Mystery Shopping Sites
AboutFace – Get paid to go into stores and perform audits on certain items or displays. Must be 18 or older. Most jobs pay $20-$40.
Amusement Advantage – Get paid to visit amusement parks. Does not always pay for all of your expenses, occasionally none of them.
Confero – Must be 21 years or older. Reimburses all expenses necessary to complete the shop, pays via PayPal monthly.
Best Mark – Must be 21 years or older to apply. Most shops include reimbursement of all expenses.
See Level – Available in the US and Canada. Most shops pay $5-$100 with most reimbursements included.
GFK Mystery Shopping – Available in the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Pays two weeks after you complete a shop.
Market Force – Pays monthly must be 20 years or older and have a high-school diploma.
GapBuster – A huge mystery shopping company available worldwide. Pays monthly.
Secret Shopper – Read Review: Must be 18 years or older. Most shops pay $15-$50. Pays monthly.
Second To None – Must be 18 or older in the US or Canada. Pays monthly via PayPal or Direct Deposit.

CallCenterQA – Read Review: Get paid to make calls to business and ask questions. Get paid $5 per 5-10 minute call. Pays via PayPal.
ARC – Get paid to call and ask questions. Has paid training. Each call pays $2-$12 depending on how much information you need to collect.
