Score: 50 Out Of 100
Welcome to my Toluna Review. Toluna is a site that pays you for taking surveys online. They offer tons of surveys and pay you with points that can be cashed out for prizes.
I found that Toluna is not a scam and is completely legit, but it’s not a survey site that I recommend. There are many reasons for this and I will be covering all of them in this Toluna Review.
Read on to learn more about why I don’t recommend this company and some other great survey alternatives.
I gave Toluna a 50 out of 100 and marked it legit because it’s not a scam. This company will pay you your rewards and most of the time give you credit for all the surveys you take. Although Toluna is legit I do not recommend joining this company because of a few reasons. But mainly because there are far better survey sites out there that you can see here.
There have also been problems with people finishing a 30 minute survey and not getting paid for it because they were not qualified. If you are familiar with survey sites you’re suppose to be told if you qualify at the beginning of the survey, so this is a major problem and can leave members extremely frustrating.

What I Liked
One thing that I do like about Toluna is they do offer an additional way to earn a few extra points. This is with polls. These polls are simple questions with multiple choice answers that just take a second to complete. You earn 15 points per poll, so not much, but at least it’s an additional way to earn
Lot’s of Prizes Delivered Quickly
I did like the amount of prizes available. They have gift cards to tons of different stores like Itunes, Wal-Mart, Amazon, and basically any major restaurant chain. The prizes start at $5 and are usually delivered via email within a few days of cashing out.
They do only offer one cash option which I cover in the next section.
What I Don’t Like
Super Slow Site
One thing that really sucked about the site was it took forever for the pages to load. Might just be on my computer, but I tried a few different browsers and they were all pretty slow to load.
This is a big deal when your going from page to page taking a survey.
I hate companies that have point systems and Toluna has a very confusing one. Instead of making it easy, 100 points per $1 Toluna has a point system that doesn’t really have a value. For example of $10 gift card ranges around 30,000 points. Why it’s not easy like 1000 or 10,000 points for $10 I don’t know, but it makes it more confusing.
The minimum cash out amount is $5 and they do offer a lot of different rewards. But I like to get paid in cash and the lowest PayPal gift card they have is $20 which really means for me the minimum cash out amount is $20 which is higher than I would like for a site that just pays to take surveys.
The biggest concern with Toluna is there have been reports of people spending 45 minutes on a survey, completing it, and being brought back to Toluna with a page that says they did not qualify for the survey. They did not get credit for taking the survey and wasted a bunch of time. Obviously this is extremely frustrating and you just gave out a ton of information for completely free.
If it was just one person complaining about this I’d let it slide, but there are a lot of people who have experienced this so it’s a major concern.
I gave Toluna a pretty bad score, but still marked it legit, because the company will pay you. I don’t recommend joining this company and gave it a bad score because there are just to many things I do not like about the program. It really does suck that people are taking surveys and not getting credit for it so that’s the main reason for the score, but the crazy point system and high cash rewards really aren’t my favorite either.
I am not against survey sites, I just don’t think Toluna is a good site for my readers to join to see my full list of TOP RATED Survey Sites Here. A few of the ones I highly recommend are Paid Viewpoint, Cash Crate, and SwagBucks.
What To Do Now?
When taking surveys it’s important to know that you won’t become rich. Survey sites are meant to be a supplemental income opportunity that earns you a few extra bucks each month.
