Today I’d like to cover over 30 extra income sites you can use to make money that actually pay! Below, I’ve included an infographic with some of my favorite ways to make a side income.
Please keep in mind, these sites won’t make you rich; they’re called “extra income” for a reason. While using a site on this list, you can expect to make an extra $25-$50 a month.
If you have any questions about the sites on this list, feel free to leave comments below. I’ve also included links to my full reviews and to sign-up below the infographic.
Some of the sites on the infographic are either closed or no longer recommended. The list below has been updated to include the best opportunities available now.

Paid To Watch Videos
You can earn money watching videos through reward apps. These platforms pay you small amounts to watch short video playlists, ads, trailers, or sponsored content. As you watch, you rack up points — and once you hit the minimum, you can cash out via PayPal or gift cards. It’s not high-paying, but it’s an easy way to earn while you relax, multitask, or have videos playing in the background.

You can earn money while shopping by using cash-back apps and websites. These platforms partner with popular retailers and pay you a percentage of your purchase back when you shop through their app or click their links. Simply sign up, activate offers, shop as usual, and watch your cash-back balance grow. Once you reach the payout minimum, you can cash out via PayPal, direct deposit, or gift cards — turning your everyday spending into real earnings

Passive Income Apps
Passive-income apps help you earn money automatically in the background with little to no effort once they’re set up. Pogo App – Read Review – Recommended
Pogo lets you earn passive income by securely linking your bank or card — it automatically tracks your purchases and rewards you with small cash payouts for sharing your shopping data. As you continue spending normally, points build in the background and can be cashed out for PayPal, Venmo, or gift cards — making it a “set-it-and-forget-it” way to earn a few extra dollars each month.

Surveys take just a few seconds and pop up occasionally — letting you earn passively over time without any ongoing effort.
Paid To Lose Weight
You can get paid to lose weight by joining “weight-loss bet” platforms where you put money into a challenge and cash out if you hit your goal. These apps verify your progress and reward you for reaching a target (such as losing a certain percentage of body weight or hitting daily step goals). If you succeed, you earn back your entry fee — plus profit — giving you financial motivation to stick with your health goals.
HealthyWage lets you bet on your own weight-loss goal. You choose how much weight you want to lose and how long it’ll take — then put money on yourself. If you hit your goal by the deadline, HealthyWage pays you a cash prize (often $500–$2,000+), making it a fun and motivating way to earn money while getting healthy.
DietBet pays you to lose weight by letting you join group challenges where everyone puts money into a pot. If you lose the required percentage of body weight (e.g., 4% in 4 weeks), you’re considered a “winner” and split the pot with the other successful players — turning your weight-loss goals into a cash reward.
StepBet pays you to stay active by betting on yourself to hit personalized daily step goals. You join a game, place a bet, and sync your fitness tracker. If you consistently reach your step targets throughout the challenge, you win and split the prize pot — earning back your bet plus extra cash for staying on your feet.
Paid To Drive
You can get paid to drive by turning your vehicle into a money-making tool. Popular options include working with delivery and rideshare apps — where you earn cash for transporting people, food, or packages.
