Jury WorkShop Review: Get Paid $25 To Be A Mock Juror

Recently I came across a site called eJury that pays you to be a mock juror. After some investigation, there’s actually a few different sites that offer this service. One is Jury WorkShop, today I’ll be reviewing this site and showing you how you can earn $25 in a Mock Jury.

Within this Jury WorkShop Review I’ll show you the qualifications, how it works, and how much you can get paid. Jury Workshop isn’t the only site that offers this so make sure to check out all 8 scam free mock jury sites. Lets get going with this Jury WorkShop Review.

Jury Workshop Requirements

Jury WorkShop does have some requirements, but they’re basically the same as being in a real jury. Here they are:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • US Citizen
  • Lived in Current County or City for 6 Months
  • Eligible To Vote
  • Not Convicted Of A Felony

As you can see very similar to normal jury requirements.

Jury Workshop Application Process

The Jury Workshop is pretty easy, but there’s a few steps. First initial screening questions. These are just to make sure you meet the minimum qualifications and to make sure you’re not affiliated with the legal system in any way.

You’ll then fill out your demographic information that’s very similar to signing up for a survey site. Provide your name, age, location, and income.

The next portion is a personality test. There’s not a particular personality that they’re looking for, but it does provide the attorney with important information that’s useful to them.

After you complete the three forms there’s some short training on how the whole process works just to make sure it’s something your interested in.

Submit your application and you’ll be notified by email within a few days if you’re accepted or not. The whole application process should take 30 minutes or less.

A Typical Mock Jury

Once you get accepted at Jury Workshop you’ll be sent mock jury invites directly to your email. If you’re on of the first respondents to join (8-16 jurors) you’ll get paid in cash for your time. If you’re not one of the first members you can still complete the trial and get paid in points, which I cover in the next section. You’ll know how you’ll be paid before you start working on the mock trial.

From what I could find a typical mock trial takes around an hour to complete. You’ll need to review all the information in the trial, submit a verdict, and answer some supporting questions to give the attorney some additional information.

After you submit your response it’ll be reviewed by the attorney and you should get paid within a few days of completion.

How Much Does Jury Workshop Pay?

Once you complete a mock jury you’ll get paid $25 to your PayPal account. Payments are made within a few days of completion. There’s no minimum cash out amount so you’ll get paid right away!

Points

In the typical mock jury section I mentioned being paid in points for work if you’re not one of the first respondents. You’ll be paid 10 points for every mock jury to complete that doesn’t earn you a PayPal payment.

Twice a year Jury Workshop members who have the most points will get a $100 gift card of choice for being one of the best members!

Is Jury Workshop A Scam?

Jury Workshop is not a scam. It’s completely legit and there’s a lot of positive feedback on the company. Personally I’m not into the legal system so I would not enjoy this, but if criminal cases interest you this is a pretty cool way to make some extra money in your spare time.

I’m not really a huge fan of the getting paid in points portion of the site. This could mean that you get nothing for your time since only members with the most points get gift card rewards. I’d stick with cases that you’ll get paid cash for.

This won’t be a large income, but it can give you some extra spending money each month. If you enjoy the process you can learn more or start the application on the Jury Workshop website.
