The New Year will be here soon, and a lot of us will be looking to lose weight, or at least live healthier. So I decided to put together a list of sites that will pay you to either lose weight or live a healthy lifestyle.
All five of these sites are legitimate, and I’ve been paid by each one. Below I’ll give you a brief description of each site, leave links to my full reviews, show you proof they pay and show you how to get started.

HealthyWage is a company that will pay you to lose weight. The way it works is you make a bet (you pay money up front), and if you meet your goals, you’ll earn your money back plus split the pot with other winners.
You get to chose how much you want to lose, how long you have to lose it, and how much you’d like to bet each month.
They have a winnings calculator that you can see here. It will give you a good idea of how much money you can win based on your weight loss goals. HealthyWage reports that most winners can win 2-3 their initial bet.
I don’t have payment proof from a weight loss challenge, but HealthyWage also has a step challenge (covered next) that I was paid by. It’s the same company so here’s proof of payment from that:
HealthyWage also has a step challenge for people that really don’t have much weight to lose. Very similar to the weight loss challenge you’ll have a step goal that you need to meet. Most challenges run 2-4 weeks and have a buy-in of $40-$100.
As long as you meet your step goals, you’ll earn your investment back plus split the pot with the rest of the winners.
I’ve done a two-week step challenge and met my goal. My initial investment was $40, and I was paid $71.30

Sweatcoin is an app that pays you points for taking outdoor steps. This won’t be a quick income by any means. More of an app that you install and earn a few points a day as you take steps.
Once you earn some points, you can exchange them for fitness related products/services. If you decided to refer friends you can also get paid via PayPal.

Achievement is an app that pays you to be healthy. They pay you for your daily steps, answer health surveys, and sharing healthy things on social media. This by no means will be a quick income, it’s more of an app you install and earn a few points per day for your steps.
Once you earn 10,000 points, you can get paid via PayPal.

So far we’ve covered ways that pay you for losing weight and exercising, but a key part to that is what you eat. I’ve included the Ibotta app on this list because they pay you to buy groceries and always pay you to buy fruits and vegetables along with a lot of other healthy products.
Once you sign up all you need to do is shop normally and when you purchase an item that’s listed in the Ibotta app scan your receipt.
Most rebates pay $.25-$2.50, and if you’re buying healthy products, you should be purchasing at least a few items listed each shopping trip.
Once you earn $20, you can get paid via PayPal, Venmo, or gift cards.
