Paid To Read Email Review: Is It a Scam?

Learn How You Can Get Paid Up to $.10 For Every Email You Read At Paid To Read Email!

A reader recently contacted me to see if a site called Paid To Read Email is a scam. I decided to take a look at the site and write a review.

I have to say that I am pretty impressed with this site, I was expecting this site to be a complete scam; there’s a ton of get paid to read email scams out there.

Paid To Read Email is not a scam, it’s very similar to a site I recommend Inbox Dollars. I think I still prefer Inbox Dollars over Paid To Read Email, but I’ll cover all the details in this review.

Please understand that although this site is legitimate it’s going to be a tiny income! If you’re interested in making a full-time online income, check out My #1 Recommendation to learn how I made over $13,000 online last month!

In this Paid To Read Email Review I’ll cover how to earn, how to get paid, and the complaints I have with this site!

Paid To Read Email Review

Is Paid To Read Email A Scam? Paid To Read Email ReviewSite: Paid To Read Email

Type: Rewards

Verdict: Legit Not Recommended

In this review, I gave Paid To Read Email a decent score and marked it legitimate. Again, I still prefer Inbox Dollars over Paid To Read Email, mainly because they’ve been around for a long time and I’ve been paid by them many times.

I do like that Paid To Read Email pays via PayPal. That’s the only major advantage I see with this site.

How To Earn At Paid To Read Email

PaidEmail

The main way to make money at Paid To Read Email is reading emails. You can set it up to send you the paid emails to your primary email or just log in to see paid emails.

You have the ability to choose between $.01-$.10 for every email that you receive. The higher the payment you choose, the faster the paid email expires.

I’ve been using $.02, and it seems like I have a few days to read the emails.

You should expect to see a few emails a day once you’ve been a member for a few days.

Offers

Paid To Read Email has free and paid offers available. A Free offer might be signing up for another survey site. These offers usually pay $.25-$1.50.

The paid offers require you to sign up for a free trial (enter in your credit card information) or make a purchase. These offers pay more, usually $2-$10.

Make sure to cancel your free trial, or you may be charged for a service you don’t want.

Surveys

You’ll find a long list of surveys available, most of the surveys available are provided by 3rd parties and have a limit of 1 completion a day.

You’ll have to qualify for a survey, so there’s no guarantee you’ll get paid unless you complete the whole survey. Most of the surveys pay from $.50-$2.

Points

The points tab is short tasks that you can do to earn points. For example, giving feedback on a website or categorizing a list.

You can exchange points for cash once you earn 50 points.

Shopping

Paid To Read Email does have some online cashback shopping available. If you’re interested in this, I’d recommend checking out Ebates or Swagbucks, before using this site for cash back shopping.

They only have a few stores available; likely your favorite stores won’t be available.

Refer Friends

Paid To Read Email does have a referral program that can earn you some extra cash. You’ll receive 15% of your referrals earnings for life.

They give you your own referral link, and you can quickly email or share on social media. Referring friends is by far the easiest way to earn extra cash!

How Does Paid To Read Email Pay?

All payments from Paid To Read Email are made via PayPal. Once you earn $15, you can request a PayPal payment.

Payments usually take three days to process after you’ve reached $15 and request a payment. Your first payment will take a bit longer; the first payment is paid 15 days after cashing out.

Paid To Read Email Complaints

Credit Card Trials

I honestly don’t have many complaints about Paid to Read Email. It seems to be a completely legitimate site. One thing that I do want to mention, which isn’t a complaint, but I’d like you to be aware.

Some offers available on Paid To Read Email require you to give out your credit card information for a free trial. These offers are usually pretty attractive because they pay much more than the free offers.

Make sure that you set some a reminder to cancel your service. If not, you’ll get charged for the service, and you’ll always end up paying more money then you earned for signing up!

Is Paid To Read Email A Scam?

Paid To Read Email is not a scam, it’s a pretty good rewards site that pays you to view emails. The thing I liked about this site is that it pays via PayPal.

One similar site that I recommend is Inbox Dollars, but they only pay with Check. Paying with PayPal is Paid To Read Email’s only significant advantage.

  1. Brok,

It is so amusing to read your review which has just opened my eyes.I am not saying that Paid To Read Email is a scam.
I am very interested in working at home on my smartphone, and the previous day, I discovered this same site that I joined. This has just highlighted that I cannot be paid for I am from Zambia.
I will check out international sites you have mentioned here.

Again, I would love know if pay pal accounts are opened by citizens from selected countries, cause most of the times I try to open my account, I usually have difficultis which shows that Zambians are not eligible for pay pal services. Is it so?

    Thank you for your time!

  2. Surveys are a waste of time especially if you leave outside the USA, I remember many times I started a survey for 20 minutes just to be told that I didn’t qualify, Paid to read emails they pay you peanuts and when you reach the minimum requirement they will try not to pay you. It is a CAOS, for me, it is freelancing or affiliate marketing as the ways to make money online.

    • I agree.

The only survey site I recommend is PaidViewpoint because getting kicked out of surveys doesn’t happen there. They only send you surveys you’re prequalified for.

With that being said as you said, the income potential is much higher if you do freelance work or start a blog.

      Thanks for reading,

  3. I enjoyed reading your reviews! I like inboxdollars, Swagbucks, Inboxpays, and PandaReseach.com! I am willing to try this site Paid to read email.com. I don’t always qualify on surveys but I am always reading reviews to find legitimate sites that I can trust! I usually like videos, emails, or polls! I have started Grabpoints and I like doing MyPoints.com I don’t always do the offers but earn up with the daily 5, emails are 5 points, videos, coupons sometimes, and surveys! Takes awhile but I do save up for certain gift cards and PayPal.com It is good making extra money since I have been living on Disability since 2016.

If you like taking surveys but don’t qualify much you might want to check out PaidViewpoint.

They only send you surveys you’re pre-qualified for so you’ll earn for every answer.

  4. Both Paid to Read Email and Surveys Email are scams. Avoid them like a plague. Their modus operand is when you reach first payment of $15 they cancel your account, thus voiding your Pay Pal request for payment

  6. I’ve been on Paid to read emails for a bit now and there are a few issues you should be aware of. In all my attempts to earn points I’ve only been credited once, despite the survey or game saying that I had completed it. I’ve messaged the website multiple times about this but I have yet to receive a reply.

Another issue I’ve had is that I will be sent a survey in an email, fill it out, be thanked for completing it, and not receive the promised reward.

So basically, after they get you to do a bunch of the initial survey’s and sign you up for some things you have no way of making enough money to cash out.

  7. Hi Brok
I think your review of “Paid to Read Emails’ is very thorough and fair. I don’t think it sounds like scam either, although as you say the amounts you can earn are very small and you have to be prepared to use your credit cards to sign uo with other companies in order to get paid more.
That is where I start to worry, as we all know how easy it is to forget to cancel a payment, and maybe they bank on that, which is where it does start to look a bit scammy!
For anyone who wants to make a reasonable amount working online, I would definitely go with your Number 1 Recommendation where I think anyone would stand a much better chance of earning real money.
    Many thanks for the information.

    • Hey Chrissie

Thanks for checking out my review. I agree that Wealthy Affiliate is a much better option, but it’s not for everyone. Paid To Read Email is legitimate, but as you mentioned it’s just extra income and not a big income, at all!

Yeah paid offers that require credit card information can be a bit sketchy just because they could cost you money. There’s really no guaranatee that you won’t get charged, and it’s external offers so if you get charged you’ll have to work it out with the offer company and not the site you signed up for.

  8. Interesting review, I haven’t heard of Paid To Read Email, but from what I read in your review it’s basically just like surveys, right? I mean, the classic surveys that many people interested in online business have tried.
To me they are a waste of time, it takes a lot until you get that minimal amount and it also depends where you live. As I’m from Europe, I noticed there aren’t as many offers available as there are in America.
But anyway, Paid To Read Emails might be a pretty good option for others, that’s just my opinion.

    • Hey Ashley thanks for checking out my Paid To Read Email review. It’s basically a rewards site that yes, does offer surveys as a way to earn.

You’re right that most survey sites have more offers available in the US, which can frustrate international members.

Also it’s an extra income site, you can make a few extra bucks each month, but not really anymore then that.
