Score: 80 Out Of 100
Almost everyone is looking to make more money these days. With it harder to find work people are turning to making money online to find ways to earn an extra income. There are tons of scams on the internet and it makes it hard for people new to making money online to avoid getting caught up in them. I first want to say that Opinion Outpost is not a scam, the company is completely legit, but it’s not one of the survey sites I recommend joining.
I know what you’re thinking if Opinion Outpost is not a scam then why don’t you recommend joining. Well you’re going to find out exactly why in this Opinion Outpost Review.
Read on to learn why I don’t recommend joining Opinion Outpost and some better survey site alternatives. If you’re looking for a full-time income online let me save you some time and visit Start Your Own Online Business.
Opinion Outpost Scam Review
I gave Opinion Outpost an 80 Out of 100 and marked it legit. I am not going to say I don’t recommend joining this company anymore and let the content of this review speak for its self. Just know Opinion Outpost is legit, but I think there are better companies to join which you can see at the end of this review.
I gave Opinion Outpost this score because there were quite a few things I didn’t like about the company, first off it was hard to join, you don’t qualify for every survey, and the referral program is terrible. I go into more detail on each of these in the next section.
Opinion Outpost Concerns
Hard To Join
This is a very unusual thing for companies that make money by you signing up. But when I first signed up for Opinion Outpost I never received a confirmation email, which is required to access the members area. I decided to try again with a different email and never received a thing. I ended up contacting support and finally got the confirmation email a couple of days letter.
This could have been a problem with both my emails, which is unlikely or could have just been a bad couple of day for Opinion Outpost, but if you decide to join you may run into this problem.
Point System & Rewards
I am not a huge fan of survey sites that pay you in points, with Opinion Outpost 10 points equals $1 so to reach the minimum cash out amount you will need 100 points. Why they can’t say you have earned $5 instead of 50 points I am not sure, but they do.
The Rewards system offers a few different methods such as PayPal which has a $10 minimum cash out or 100 points. It usually takes 3-5 days to receive payments which is pretty slow for a PayPal option usually it takes a few minutes.
Don’t Get Paid For Trying
One big thing about Opinion Outpost and a lot of other sites is you don’t qualify for every survey. But to qualify for a survey you have to answer questions before each survey. This can take up a good deal of your time and with Opinion Outpost you won’t get paid for it.
This isn’t unusual for a lot of Paid Survey Sites, but Paid Viewpoint only sends you surveys you’re already qualified for. I highly recommend checking them out.
I guess it’s a positive that they do offer a referral program, but it’s a terrible one. Most survey referral programs give you 10% of your referrals earnings for life. Some just give you some extra cash or points for each referral you ever sign up, but with Opinion Outpost there is a limit.
You will receive $1 for referring others, but there is a limit of 5. After you refer you 5 friends you won’t earn any money for referring others.
This might not be a huge deal for some people, but when I promote a site I get 100s even 1000s of referral so not being able to take advantage of more than 5 is a huge disadvantage.
I gave Opinion Outpost a decent score and marked it legit, but I don’t recommend joining this company. Opinion Outpost will pay you your earnings, but I feel like there are better survey sites out there.
I am not against survey sites in general, I actually get paid by a few each month. Somethings that I look for in a great survey site is high paying surveys, multiple ways to earn, Instant PayPal payments, getting paid to try or automatically qualified, and a very trustworthy company. Some of my favorite sites that fit this criteria are Paid Viewpoint, Cash Crate, & SwagBucks.
