Media Insiders Panel Review: Scam or $15 A Month?
I no longer recommend Media Insiders Panel. Check out Cross Media Panel for a much better option.
The Media Insiders Panel is a site that will pay you to install a program on your computer, smartphone, tablets, and other products. I decided to write this Media Insiders Panel Review because I’ve been looking for great ways to make some extra passive income and others are wondering if this is a scam. I have to say I’m always hesitant to download and install programs that track information, but from what I’ve found it’s completely safe, and I’ll cover privacy a bit in this review.
Media Insiders pays you points for every week that you keep their program running on your different devices. After you build up some points, you can exchange them for gift cards and PayPal payments.
Let’s get started with this Media Insiders Review and see if this is a scam or some awesome extra passive income. In this review, I’ll cover how it works, how much you can earn, some complaints, and prove it’s legitimate!
Media Insiders Panel Review
Site: Media Insiders Panel
Type: Tracking Passive Income
70 out of 100
Verdict: Not Recommended
In my Media Insiders Panel Review, I gave them a decent score and marked it legitimate, but I do have some major concerns with this program.
I like that it only takes a few minutes to sign up and then you’re ready to make money forever. The payments start at $5, so that’s also a huge plus.

I Bet You're Tired Of Making Pennies Online. No More BS. If You're Serious About Making A Full-Time Income Online You Need To See The TRUTH. Stop Wasting Your Time With The Next Big Thing When There's Already A Proven Method That Works!
The concerns have to do with privacy and how their program affects your computer and smartphone. There’re cases where this has caused problems, so it’s something to consider before joining.
Overall it’s a good passive income opportunity, but the concerns will rule out a good amount of people!
How Does The Media Insiders Panel Work?
Sign Up For The Panel
The first step to getting started with the Media Insiders Panel is to sign up for an account. Anyone who’s 13 years or older that has a computer or smartphone can join.
The signup process is very simple; it’s very similar to a survey site. You’ll give out your name, email, phone number, race, household income, and a bit about your living and family situation.
The signup process should only take 5 minutes or so.
Install Program On Devices
After you sign up, it’s time to install the program on your devices. You can download the application on a PC, iPhone 5 or newer, Android smartphone, iPad, and a few iPod models. Once you complete the sign-up, you’ll see links that take you to installation for your device.
Just click on the link and complete the installation.
Earn Each Week
For each week that you keep the app/program installed you’ll earn points. There are some requirements you’ll have to meet, but they are pretty basic. How much you make depends on how many devices you have connected and how long you’ve been with the program, but the maximum you can earn is around $15 a month.
Cash Out Rewards
Once you’ve earned some points, you can exchange these points for gift cards and PayPal payments. Gift Card payments start at $5 or 500 points, and PayPal payments start at $25 or 2500 points!
How Much Does The Media Insiders Panel Pay?
The payment structure of the Media Insiders Panel program can get a bit confusing, but I’ve done my best to break down exactly what you can earn:
Registration: When signing up you can earn 50 points ($.50) just for setting up your mobile device
Smartphone Only: If you only have a Smartphone connected you’ll earn 100 points ($1) a week
PC Only: If you only have a PC running you’ll make a total of 50 points ($.50) each week.
Smartphone & PC: This is what they call complete compliance. If you have a PC and Smartphone hooked up, you can earn a total of 200 points ($2) a week.
These are the main rates you’ll be paid each week that you keep the program running and meet the few requirements. But you can earn more with loyalty bonuses. I’ve covered them below:
Loyalty Bonus: If you meet the requirements for 13 straight weeks with just a smartphone connected you’ll earn a 500 point ($5) bonus.
Total Loyalty Bonus: If you meet the requirements for 13 straight weeks with a smartphone and PC connected you’ll earn an additional 500 points plus the 500 point bonus you already received from the “loyalty bonus”
Media Insiders Panel Complaints
As with all tracking programs and apps, there’re some privacy concerns. I’ll make it easy for you, if you have any concerns about privacy, DO NOT join Media Insiders. Although they say that all information collected is encrypted and your identity is not shared, there’s no reason to mess with the program if you’re not comfortable.
The money you can make from the Media Insiders Panel is not worth going outside your privacy comfort zone!
I did install the Media Insiders Panel Program on my PC and had the same complaint that many other members have. I have an extremely fast computer, and once I installed the program, I was having problems just loading Gmail and looking at my email.
Not all members are complaining about this, but it’s something that could be a major concern. From what I’ve heard the Smartphone version doesn’t affect speed.
I have not used the smartphone side of this program, but I did get involved with a similar program a few years back that tracked activity on my smartphone. At that time I had a limited data plan, and since the app was always tracking and running in the background, it used up all my data.
I had a few extra charges for data the few months that I used the program, so I immediately removed it.
With this in mind, if you don’t have unlimited data you should check on this before installing. I don’t know if it will happen with Media Insiders, but it’s a possibility.
Is Media Insiders Panel A Scam?
The Media Insider Panel is not a scam; there’re many members out there that are very happy with the program. I do have some major concerns with parts of the program, so if any of those also concern you, I recommend staying away from this passive income opportunity.
If you’re fine with the privacy concerns, this is a good way to make some extra passive income, and the best part is that it just takes a few minutes to set up.

As I mentioned, if you have privacy concerns, just skip this opportunity because the income is not worth it. If you’re not comfortable, I have some other extra income sites I recommend that don’t track any data on your phone or computer.
