About Me: Learn A Bit More About Brok!

My Story

Welcome to my website, Full Time Job From Home, my name is Brok, and no I’m not another online guru here to sell you the latest and greatest product. Just a few short years ago I was also looking to find a way to make money online and work at home. I struggled online for many years, basically trying anything that I came across.

What I found was there’s a lot more scams online than actual legitimate ways to make money.

That’s the #1 reason I decided to start this site. I share my experiences with companies, jobs, and sites so you have an idea of what to expect and what to avoid before you spend your valuable time and money! I personally try or use each site I review before sharing, that way you know exactly what the deal is!

Since, 2013 I’ve been helping people just like you find legitimate ways to make money online and I could not be happier for the opportunity it’s given me!

What Will I Find Here?

When I first started Full Time Job From Home, my main focus was what I now consider “extra income”, I know doesn’t make much sense based on the name of my site lol.

Since starting a few years back I’ve expanded and now cover a few different categories of “make money online”

I’m sure I’ll get into more categories here soon, but for now my main focus is to provide you accurate and detailed information about companies, sites, and products in these main 3 categories.

Within these 3 main topics I cover a few subtopics, I’ve listed them below:

  • Detailed Reviews of Companies, Sites, and Products
  • Long Lists of Legitimate Companies, Sites, and Products
  • Detailed Reviews of Scams and Why You Should Stay Away

You’ll occasionally see content that doesn’t fall in these categories, but this is what you should expect if you decided to make my site a typical read 🙂

What Will I NOT Find Here?

Now that you know what to expect to find here. Let’s cover a few things that you won’t find, and if you’re looking for these, I recommend re-evaluating what “make money online” really means!

  • Me Recommending Sites That Promise “Get Rich Quick”
  • Me Recommending A Product Just To Earn A Commission
  • A Sales Page Promising Anything That’s Not Realistic

I honestly take a lot of pride in my site and reviews. You won’t see me recommending products just to earn money. If a site sucks, I say it sucks! I do my very best to give you my honest opinion, sometimes you might not like what I say, but again you probably have unrealistic expectations of what making money online really means…..WORK!

How Do You Make Money Online?

Every single day I get asked how I make money online, so I’d like to cover that topic a bit. Although I talk about Work At Home Jobs and Extra Income Sites on this site, more than 95% of my income comes from blogging and building websites.

If you stumble around my site for a few minutes, you’ll probably see me mention My #1 Recommendation. If you visit that page you’ll learn how I make money online and a pretty awesome place where you can learn how too.

I won’t get in too much detail here, but take a look at My #1 Recommendation if you’d like to learn more.

I’d Like To Contact You!

There are quite a few ways to stay in the loop with me and with my blog. First I’d highly recommend becoming an email subscriber. You’ll get all my latest reviews sent to your email once a week.

If that’s not for you, I can always be reached on Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, or YouTube. I’ve also included a form below where you can easily contact me directly via email with any concerns or questions you may have!

I’m here to help you make money online, whether it be through blogging, work at home jobs, or just extra income. I’m always just one message away. Don’t be shy, I always love to hear from readers.

I hope to hear from you soon, use the email form below to get in contact with me directly: fulltimejobfromhome@gmail.com

I’m having several issues with contact forms, causing me to miss several emails. For the time being, please leave a comment on this page. Once I receive it I’ll contact you directly!

    • I was using Thrive Themes but recently changed. Still using the Thrive Leads plugin but plan on switching from that most likely, due to site speed and rankings falling dramatically.

      I’ve switched to GeneratePress.

  1. Why do I have to pay $19.00 for the first month of the premium edition and $49.00 a month after that. I’m 75 and I have never heard of having to pay to work for a company. It makes no sense.

    • Kathleen,

You will not be working for a company. It’s a training course and support community that teaches you how to build your own online business (specifically with niche websites.)

The fee is for the website, support, and tools such as free hosting, keyword research tool, etc.

    • Hey there Frieda,

Thanks for reading and yes most of my recommendations won’t work in your country, but here’re a few options.

Here’re 5 Extra Income site available worldwide. I’ll show you proof they pay but please understand they are going to be a very small income.

My #1 Recommendation actually works in any country that you have an internet connection. It won’t be an instant income, does require a lot of work, but it gives you potential of a large online income.

      Hope this helps,

  5. Hello Brock,

I am very interested in working for Worldwide 101 and hoping you can advise me on a couple issues.

I filled out the lengthy application for the virtual position as an Executive Assistant and then tried to save it before submitting. When I pulled up the document it all the fields I had populated with my answers were gone. Thankfully I had printed out the completed document prior to losing it, so I was able to recreate it. Unfortunately, I lost it again. Is there any way I can save the completed document before I submit it?

The website listed states in the United States that they were currently searching for candidates in. My state, Oklahoma, was not among the list. Does this mean they do not accept candidates located in Oklahoma? This wouldn’t seem to make sense since the whole concept is that the assistant’s location is virtual.

I appreciate any insight you can provide. Meanwhile, I am going to fill out the application again. Third time is the charm!

    • Hey Rhonda,

      First off thanks for reading!

I did some research, and it looks like they are not hiring in Oklahoma. Only the 15 states that they list on this page at this time.

Unfortunately, some companies try to stay out of some states just due to some of the state laws. That’s not the case for every company though, so make sure to check out these other WAH VA positions.

If you’re up for it, we highly recommend the course at 30 Days or Less to VA Success. It teaches you how to find high paying clients directly, which means you can usually get paid more than working for a company that finds work for you. But it’s not for everyone. Feel free to check it out, the link is to a review from one of my writers, Carrie, she took the course and now works at home as a VA!

Hope this helps if you need anything else please let me know,

  6. Hi Brok,
I’m giving TranscribeMe a shot. I’ve been reading great things about it, including here on your website, and I think it’s going to be perfect for me in my current situation; thirty and returning to college full-time.
I’m only just starting out here with transcription work, so I’m curious if you’ve got any opinion as to which is the best place for me to start – the “Quick Step Exam,” or the “English Transcriber Skills Assessment.” The former seems to set you you up for transcribing full audio files, paid by the Audio Hour, whereas the latter describes the work as “chunks of audio files.”

Thanks man. I appreciate whatever feedback you’ve got.
    -Melanie

    Reply
    • Melanie,

I believe those different tests just unlock different types of audio files that you can transcribe. If you’re going to be doing it for an income as you attend college I would recommend doing both, so you have as many file options as possible. Because although you might have a lot of files there will be several that are poor quality and you really want to avoid those if you can.

So to answer your question I would do both so doesn’t really matter which one you start with!

Hope this helps and good luck online and with your college courses!

When it comes to graphic design most of the online work is freelance using sites like Fiverr, upwork, etc. or you can try to do freelance work without using those sites.

  9. Hello! I’m just saw your blog while searching if Skylom is a scam or legit. I became interested to have my own blog but I don’t know how and if I’ll be able to do it. I don’t have any background regarding to this matter. I want to join but as of now I don’t have any budget for the premium. Can I still join the WA? If I became a member how long will it last for FREE. Is it ok to join first and once I earned some I join later to the premium? I’m from the Philippines and thank you very much in advanced for reading my inquiries.

    • Hey Mariz!

Luckily the training at WA is set up for complete beginners so no knowledge of building websites is needed to get started and understand the training.

Premium is not required you can join for free and stay a free member forever. You’ll still have access to some training and two free websites to apply what you learn to.

If you decide premium is right for you, you can upgrade at any time.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any other questions.

      Thanks,

  10. I found your site today 5/28/18 & I am very new to the making money online world. I found quite a bit of good info in my first visit to your site & made a few bookmarks to follow up with later. Seriously, thanks for all your hard work & putting this together in one place!
How often do you update the site that lists opportunities & apps/sites that you have reviewed? Is it regularly monitored, or hit and miss?
Do you have access to a “page updated (or reviewed) on [date]” widget you could implement, possibly? It’s just a suggestion, but could be a potential help for new readers. I’d thought I’d throw it out there as a first time visitor’s observation.
I see ‘2013’ all over the site, but have to dig pretty deep to find comments into 2018. I just worry when I go to a site looking for leads into this type of thing & many aren’t updated anymore. That leads to dead links, old sites, and apps that aren’t available any longer. I already feel overwhelmed trying to find reputable sources for reviews and recommendations. Being lead to another false hope kills my momentum. I give up on my search, and fall further behind the curve.
Just a thought, do with it as you please.
I am looking forward to finding great resources here though! Thanks again!

    • Thanks for reading Brendan and that’s a great suggestion. I do keep the site up to date and post new content several times a week, if you find any broken links if you could leave a comment that would be great. I’ll look into a plugin that lets you know when I updated last.

Thanks again for reading and hopefully you find what you’re looking for!

  17. Hi Brok,

While reading thru Pinterest, naturally, came upon your site and just recently joined up with WA. I am hopeful, since for the most part, I’m somewhat of a night owl, and hopefully, things will go smoothly so I can earn an additional income each month. Going out and looking for a “real job” in the “real world”, so NOT for me anymore. I mean seriously, who’s going to hire someone over the age of 60? With that being said, working at home sounds SO much more better

Being disabled, I have often thought writing a blog on that subject would be good. I use an electric wheelchair when I leave the house and a walker in the house. Movement is not something to be taken lightly, let me tell you. The wheelchair, though, keeps me fairly independent, and that is what matters, I think.

I also love animals, for the most part. The exception being the black lab/pit mix I am HOPING to have trained to be a service dog for me. Mandy (her name) is 10 months old and as you know, babies/toddlers, they have more energy than they know what to do with. Again, if only I could bottle it! She thinks she’s a lapdog. I have the bruises to prove that!

So, I have a couple of options for blogging. I’d like to have a go at that, see where it goes, etc.

Hello Brok! I happened to received your email today “Brok at Full Time Job from Home.” I was surprised on how you make money online like your doing it so easy. I have already started learning at WA a month ago and went on premium. just taking my time doing it at my own pace cuz i am pretty busy during the day. I signed up with ” I’ve Tried That” of Steve Racinski. By the way I’m 62yrs old from the Philippine Island trying to make money online working from home. Right now I am on the lesson of writing About Me post. Really lagging with the lessons due to time constraint and understanding in in depth prior going ahead with the next. Would highly appreciate if you can keep emailing me with the mechanics on how to really make money just to have something to cover my monthly recurring bill with WA. Thanks in advance for all the help I can get.

I am currently using Spare5 and Paid Viewpoint but it is still not giving quite enough money for my needs. Do you have any recommendations for a student who has little time to do a part time job on the web? Also I am trying out Clixsence and I just made an account but there seem to be no Paypal as a method of payment and I don’t have any of those payment method in the options given by Clixsence.

    • Awesome to hear you’re already making money online Agape.

Clixsense just removed PayPal as a payment method so sorry that was still listed on the review.

I would recommend starting to build your own online business. Even if you don’t have much time, you can spend a little bit of time on the site everyday or week and hopefully build a much larger income over time.

That way you’re building a passive income that can accumulate overtime while you still on spend a little time on it each day.

There’re sites that will build you a website, but to make money with your site you’ll have to be able to drive traffic to your site by creating content. That means you’ll need to know how to navigate the backend of your website. Honestly, creating the website is pretty easy with the tools you can use for free.

I’d recommend signing up for a free account at Wealthy Affiliate. They have a free website builder tool that you can use to create your first website within a few minutes. They also have a complete step by step training on how to create a website, drive traffic to your site, and make money with affiliate marketing!

You have to pay them a subscription fee to get on their availability list that customers choose from. Any direction and info would be appreciated. I apologize if this is something you have already reviewed. Do you have a search bar that allows one to find who you have reviewed?

    Thanks,

Most of those errand running services have a lot of coverage from major news organizations and I’m not seeing that with either. Both sites are very similar just different colors so they’re probably connected in some way. I’m not seeing where you have to pay, but if that’s true I would stay away from it. There’re several other services that don’t make you pay anything that you can see here.

  35. Hi Brok,

I wanted to send you a quick email today because I just mentioned and linked to your website in my latest post: How to Make Money with 330+ Ideas, a massive resource that took 136 hours to create (https://www.poweroverlife.com/make-money-weird-wacky-ideas/)

You were mentioned in the Computer/App section.

It would make my day if you could share my resource with your website audience and/or on social media.

Have a great rest of your week!

Looks like the link you sent over doesn’t work. But thank you for the mention and I’d be happy to share if you send over a correct link.

  36. Hello Brok,

How are you your website reminds very much like flexjobs who do all the leg work and just give the truth and legit jobs Only. I would like to be added to your email list . I have a lot job experience with writing, mystery shopping, sales, legal research, paralegal work and holistic work I have thought of starting a blog personally to help with people and animal’s health and get paid too. I am interested in your knowledge and experience in these areas and would appreciate a jump start or the best advice out there . there are many scams in this world . If people do get scammed, so sorry but you can also contact the attorney general’s state agency office, each state has their own and there is even a supreme court attorney general who governs over all the statewide agencies . my paralegal backgrounds is showing but better secure than sorry I later I do not like regrets. I have never had a problem either. never will anyways I look forward to hearing back thank you chow. This is exciting for the people out there with talent looking for a viable way to get known and do some good too and be with technology . News travels so fast with these things.

  37. Brok,

I am wondering if you use the Pretty Link Lite plugin? I know a lot of people use it but I am unsure if it is safe. What do you think of it? Does it ever fail and mess up your links?

    • Hey Kyle,

I do use the pretty link lite plugin. I’ve been using it for over 3 years and have had no issues. Seems to work great and lets me keep all my affiliate links organized. But I know there’re several other plugins that are similar. Unless you’re looking for a specific feature pretty link doesn’t have I’d say use it.

Hi, how are you ? I wonder maybe you can tell me which work ( home based work ) can be able for citizens of Georgia ( don’t confused, its independent country not state of USA, just for information republic of Georgia is located between Russia and Turkey ).

I found several ( home based work ) jobs on internet, however major part of them where not including my country, can you suggest me something valuable/ give me several sites, ( if you able ) which works for this area.

    Thanks in advanced

  39. Hi Brok. I’m recently unemployed and want to work from home. My career was in law as a paralegal and my typing speed is 80wpm. I love transcribing and would love to get into something along those lines or something similar. I’m going to have a look at your jobs from home directory and would appreciate an email from you when you have a moment to further discuss my future. Thank you for your time.

  40. Hello. I have quite a good command of English but I have never used it by working to be blunt. I would like to start working as a transcriber or translator but I have never done this before., so I would like to know if you can give me some tips for people who have good English but no experience. I tried to become an English teacher but after attending university for half an year I dropped out because It dawned on me that it wasn’t my calling. My mother language is Spanish , so I could transcribe in both languages; English and Spanish. I have some education since I have basic knowledge about history, philosophy, and spiritual studies. I guess I haven’t found my niche yet when it comes to working , as for my studies I am ok with them since I know philosophy is my calling but I still need to solve my job issues, alright this is it for now bye .

    • Hey Gabriel, thanks for reaching out. There’re sites that accept transcribers and translators without experience. I have a few helpful links below:

      Transcription No Experience
      Translation Companies

I also highly recommend doing a Google search of Spanish to English transcription or translation jobs. I know that some legitimate online companies hire both positions translation from English to Spanish or vice versa.

Hope this helps, if you have any additional questions, please let me know.
