Wordlinx Review: Another PTC Scam?
Wordlinx is a PTC traffic exchange website that pays you to view ads. Wordlinx does let you join for free, but they have paid memberships that gives you an earnings boost and other advantages.
Wordlinx is not a scam, but it’s not a site I recommend. You’ll be earning less than a penny for every ad you view and the whole idea is to get you to pay for a membership.
If you’re interested in getting paid to view ads, look at this list of Extra Income sites, but please remember it’s a very small income.
In this WordLinx Review, I’ll cover how to earn, how they pay, the complaints I have, and if this site is a scam.
Type: PTC, Traffic Exchange
Score: 50 out of 100
Verdict: Legitimate, Not Recommended
In this WordLinx Review, I gave them a bad score but did mark it legitimate. WordLinx is not a site I recommend to make money with or to use to drive traffic to your website.
Ads pay less than a penny per view, and the cashout amount is $10. It’s going to take you months to reach that amount unless you pay for an account or have a ton of referrals.

Traffic exchange websites are pointless for website owners. All they do is drive untargeted visitors that are not interested in engaging with your content.

How To Earn
Paid To Click
The main way to earn at WordLinx is through Paid To Click ads. You’ll make $.005 for every ad that you view. Ads open in a new tab, and you’re required to view it for 15-30 seconds. When the timer gets to zero, you can close the tab and view a new ad.
This is similar to a site I’ve reviewed called Ad.fly. You can shorten any link that you’d like. When someone clicks that link, they must view an ad for a few seconds before it redirects to the desired URL. You’ll earn a percentage of what WordLinx makes per click on your link.
Surveys & Offers
WordLinx has surveys and offers from a few 3rd party providers. The offers include free and paid, so be aware you may be asked to enter in your credit card information for a free trial or purchase. Most surveys pay $.25-$1, and most offers pay $.50-$5.
One way to earn is by referring other members and is the key to making more than just a few bucks with this site. You’ll earn cash for five tiers of referrals. You earn a few cents for each signup, a percentage of their earnings, and bonuses if they upgrade to a paid account.
How Does WordLinx Pay?
Of course, you can exchange cash into advertising coins, but you can also get paid cash. WordLinx pays via PayPal once you earn $10. The cash out amount is a little high because you’re making a tiny amount per ad, but it is reachable.
Payments show up in your PayPal account within 72 hours of requesting payment.
WordLinx is what I call an extra income site, and it’s an even smaller income than most of the sites I use/recommend. Please do not think this site will make you rich. To make a larger income, you’ll need to have thousands of active referrals making you money every day.
Most traffic exchange websites let you join for free, but limit your earnings, so you upgrade to a paid account. WordLinx has two levels of paid memberships that let you earn more on your own and from referrals. Honestly, unless you can refer thousands of active members, the advantages of the paid memberships will not be enough to offset the cost.
I do not recommend WordLinx to get paid to view ads, but definitely, do not pay for a membership if you’re only going to view ads.
As a website owner or blogger, traffic exchange sites can seem like a good way to get traffic, but they’re not. Why do people visit your site when you use an ad exchange? It’s because they are trying to earn money or ad credits so they can advertise their site. The traffic your site receives has no interest in your content or what you’re promoting. You’re just sending bots to your website.

Is WordLinx A Scam?
WordLinx is not a scam, but I do not recommend joining this site. To earn money, you’ll need to click on ads that pay you less than one cent each. It’s going to take forever to get paid. If you’re interested in the traffic exchange side of things, don’t bother. You’ll send traffic to your site, but they won’t interact with your content or earn you money. The only way for this site to be profitable is to have thousands of active referrals, which most of you don’t have a means of doing.
My recommendation is to stay away from WordLinx and see all the other Legitimate Extra Income Sites I Recommend.
