Recently I came across the site Social Monkee. To me social Monkee is a scam and I will be telling you why in this article. Social Monkee’s business model has set it up for failure. Google has moved on and paying for back links is just worthless, it can even hurt your website rankings. The Social Monkee Scam is one to stay away from and I will be telling you why now!
What Is Social Monkee?
Social Monkee is a paid website that promises to improve your website SEO and increase your traffic. It does this by creating what they call “high quality back links” to your website. Back links will improve your SEO, but only if they are truly high quality. It’s no longer about how many back links you have, and that is what Social Monkee aims to do.
The lowest Membership of Social Monkee is $7, which will give you a maximum of 25 back links a day. There are up sales within the program that allow for more back links daily, but first let me make sure you save $7.
The Social Monkee Scam: Worthless Backlinks
I have touched on it a bit, but the back links you receive from this program are completely worthless. Social Monkee focuses on getting you as many back links as possible everyday. Here is the thing Google doesn’t care.. =(. Once Google adopted Penguin update the number of back links became irrelevant.
Google is now looking for high quality back links. Google is looking for back links from highly ranked sites that people trust and visit often related to your niche. Not 25 links from garbage on the internet.
How Social Monkee Will Hurt Your Website!
Not only will you waste your money joining Social Monkee, but you will also be hurting your website. Like mention above it’s not what Google is looking for. Google has changed its way of ranking and sites with irrelevant back links are getting punished.
Another reason Social Monkee will punish your site is it’s against Google’s terms of service. Just to clarify if you violate Google’s TOS your website will be removed from Google completely. If you haven’t figured out yet, you want Google as your best friend, not thrown to the curb like garbage.

My Review On Social Monkee
Website: Social Monkee
Cost: $7 + Up sales
Score: 20 out of 100
Verdict: Scam
Social Monkee is a complete scam. I gave it a 20 out of 100 because I was feeling nice. It is completely worthless and will only hurt your website. Please stay away from the $7 version and all the up sales, it is just not worth it.
Don’t get me wrong, back links are important to improving your site’s SEO, but paying for automated back links will not help you. If you really want back links that will help your website rankings reach out to others in your niche and comment on their site for back links.
Hopefully I informed you of this scam before you spent any money on Social Monkee. Please share in the comments if you have used the program or if you have any questions. If you have already used Social Monkee work hard to get rid of the back links to your site, Google will not go easy on you!

Very good review here, I have never bought backlinks and don’t intend to start anytime soon. Building backlinks naturally is the only way to go if you want to rank high I think.
