One of the most popular ways to make money online is through paid online surveys. One of my favorite sites to use is called Swagbucks. Swagbucks is a rewards site that’s available in the US, UK, CA, AU, and IE and is currently offering a $5 sign-up bonus to all new members!
They offer several ways to make money such as surveys, watching videos, completing offers, searching the internet, and much more.
As you earn points you can exchange them for gift cards to 100s of stores starting at $5, they even have PayPal payments available!
On this page, I’ll tell you more about how Swagbucks works and show you why I enjoy taking their surveys.
Online Surveys At Swagbucks
The first step is, of course, signing up for a free Swagbucks account by visiting Swagbucks.com. Once you’ve signed up and confirmed your email, you’ll be eligible to receive a $5 sign-up bonus!
Once you’ve signed up and are inside your Swagbucks account, you can visit the “Answer” tab to see all of the available surveys. The first step that I recommend doing is completing your survey profile. There’re several questions you can answer to complete your profile. You’ll earn $.02 for every ten multiple answer questions you complete. You can see an example of one below:
Once you answer some profile questions, you can see a long list of surveys available. It clearly shows how much the survey pays and the estimated time to complete the survey. If you find a survey you’d like to take just click start survey!
When you start a survey, you do have to answer some screening questions to qualify, but luckily almost every study at Swagbucks pays you $.01 just for trying to qualify!
If you don’t qualify, you’ll get kicked out of the screening questions, earn $.01, and get the message pictured above. If you do qualify, they’ll let you know, and the survey will start in the same tab. Once you complete a survey, your earnings should show up within a few seconds!
As you can see from the screenshot above, I currently have $24.39 in my Swagbucks account and have made $816.43 in my lifetime as a member taking surveys, searching the internet, watching videos, and completing offers!
Other Ways To Earn at Swagbucks
As mentioned, Swagbucks is a rewards site, meaning they offer several ways to earn and not just surveys. Here’s a list of the different ways you can earn at Swagbucks.
Search: One reason I recommend Swagbucks so much is the getting paid to search the internet feature. It’s the best out there. You don’t get paid for every search you conduct, but at least a couple times a day you’ll earn $.08-$.20 for searching the internet!
Shop: Swagbucks also pays you to shop online. I honestly prefer Ebates, but Swagbucks is still excellent for online cash back. You’ll earn a percentage of the total purchase price you order.
Watch: Get paid to watch videos. They usually have playlists of 5-10 videos that play automatically and can earn you $.02-$.10 a piece.
Discover: This is what I would consider the offers section of the site. They have free and paid offers. Free offers consist of signing up for a free account or mailing list and usually pay $.50-$1.50. The paid offers require you to make a purchase or start a free trial (with a credit card down) and can pay anywhere from $2.50-$20+.
Play: Swagbucks has several games you can play for free, or you can enter tournaments for a few cents. If you have one of the highest scores you can win big cash prizes.
Swagbucks Rewards
One thing that makes Swagbucks great is the large amount of reward options available. As mentioned, they have hundreds of gift card options starting at $5. Some gift cards include Amazon, Walmart, Target, but there’re tons of others.
If you like cash, no problem, Swagbucks also offers PayPal payments starting at $25!
Once you earn enough points, exchange them for a reward. Within a few days, you’ll receive your reward via email!
Just to show you proof Swagbucks is legitimate, here’s a screenshot of a PayPal payment I received from them.
