DealsPlus Money Makers Program Review: Is It A Scam?

DealsPlus is a very popular coupon and deals website that has user generated content, meaning that all deals and coupons posted come from their members. They recently released a money makers program that lets you earn cash for sharing coupons and deals.

I know I have a lot of readers that are interested in coupons so I thought I’d put together a review of the Money Makers Program at DealsPlus so you can learn how you can make some extra cash for your coupons.

In this review, I’ll show you how the program works, how much you can earn, how you’re paid, my complaints, and see if this site’s a scam!

DealsPlus Money Makers Program Review

Price: Completely Free

Score: 85 out of 100

Verdict: Legitimate

In this Review of the Money Makers Program at DealsPlus I gave them a good score and marked it legitimate. If you’re already a member of this site, there’s no reason why you should not join the money making portion. Not only can you get paid to upload deals, but participating in forums pays you cash.

I do have a few complaints about the program, but overall it’s a cool way to make some extra money online. If you’re into finding deals and coupons, I think this is a must join, but know it won’t be a huge income.

How Does The Money Makers Program Work?

To begin the process, you’ll have to apply for the Money Makers Program; all the application says is tell us about yourself and do you have a website, but both fields say optional. I would recommend at least telling them about yourself and if you do have a website list it. They say they’ll get back to you within 48 hours.

If approved you can log in to your dashboard where you track all your posted deals, coupons, and forum discussions. There’re five different ways to earn money with Money Makers Program, I’ve covered them all below:

Post A Deal

The first way to make money is by posting a Deal. I was a bit confused about exactly what the difference between a deal and coupon was, but I think I got it. A deal is just a link to an item on sale or anything that saves you money. What makes it fall into the deal category is all you need to do is click the link, and the savings should automatically be taken off at check out.

For posting deals, you’ll earn $3.00 per 1,000 views.

Update A Deal

The next way to earn is by updating a deal. If you find a posted deal that has incorrect information or has changed, you can edit and submit corrections to the deal. If your corrections are approved, you’ll earn $1.50 per 1,000 views. The original poster still makes $1.50 from the post.

Post A Coupon

You can also earn by posting coupons and coupon codes at DealsPlus. These can be clipped in-store coupons or online coupon codes. Either way is completely fine. The key to coupon codes is you’ll usually need to enter the code at checkout to get the savings.

You’ll earn $3,00 per 1,000 views.

There’s a limit of $30 in earnings per coupon, but you can earn more from other coupons at the same time.

Ask & Share Answers

DealsPlus has a very active forum that can help you make money. All you need to do is reply to questions in the forum and get your answer ranked #1. If you’re familiar with Yahoo Answers or similar sites, you should understand the voting process.

You’ll earn $3.00 per 1,000 views, while you answer is ranked #1 for that question.

You don’t earn anything if you’re not the #1 answer.

External Link Clicks

If you have a website, you can place a widget on your site to earn some additional income. For every 1,000 clicks, you drive to DealsPlus from your widget you’ll earn $10.00 or more.

How Does DealsPlus Pay?

DealsPlus pays the Money Makers Program members once a month at the end of the month via PayPal. You’ll need to earn at least $50 to cash out.

If you do not reach the $50 mark in a month, your earnings will roll over to the next month.

Along with getting paid via PayPal, you can donate your earnings to charity, from time to time DealsPlus will match your charity donation.

DealsPlus Complaints and Concerns

High Cash-Out Amount

I like that PayPal is how DealsPlus pays, but I wish the cashout amount were a bit lower, and that payments were made more than once a month.

I’m not sure how easy it is to earn $50 in a month, but I’d say if you’re active and have some popular coupons it’s more than achievable.

Limits On Coupon Earnings

Pretty much all of the earning methods are unrestricted, but there’s a limit of $30 per coupon. Honestly, this probably won’t be an issue because that means your coupon got 10,000 views, but maybe it’s easy to reach that amount since DealsPlus has a lot of traffic and users.

Is DealsPlus Money Makers Program A Scam?

The Money Makers Program at DealsPlus is not a scam. It’s a pretty awesome way to make some extra cash by sharing deals and coupons. The program is based on how many views your content receives, to make good money you’ll need to upload coupons and deals that become popular on the site.

If you already find coupons and deals, I highly recommend this site. To learn more or to join visit DealsPlus.com to get started.

  1. This sounds like a cool and somewhat easy way to earn some small cash on the side. Especially if you have some free time on your hands to post coupons and deals.

But as a WA member, I think it’s more worthwhile to invest one’s time into something that can earn more, like affiliate marketing or drop shipping.

    • Hey Ariel thanks for reading my DealsPlus Review. I have to agree that time can be spent much better doing other things to make money online. I personally prefer affiliate marketing, like you recommend.

But if you’re in to coupons and deals this might be a good way to make an extra income
