Welcome to my American Consumer Opinion Review. In this review we will take a look to see if this company is a scam, how it works, and if I recommend joining American Consumer Opinion.

American Consumer Opinion has been around for a while, they actually started as a mail survey service and switched over to online surveys. They have  a great reputation for paying their members on time and being a very good survey company.

They are very similar to many other sites in the way it works, so the big thing that differentiates these sites from each other are the small details which we will take a look at in this American Consumer Opinion Review.

How Does American Consumer Opinion Work?

1) Join ACOamerican consumer opinion review

2) Fill Out Your Profile

3) Wait For Surveys To Your Email

6) Cash Out Points For Cash

American Consumer Opinion Review

I gave American Consumer Opinion an 80 out of 100 because this site is completely scam free, they will pay you every time you reach the cash out amount, but there were a lot of things I didn’t like. I feel like there are better options out there for pure survey sites which I will cover later in this review.

It’s not that I don’t recommend ACO, it’s that I think there are better sites out there for you to try first. ACO is a site that doesn’t send you that many surveys so it’s a site that will need to be combined with other sites to make good money. You can see all the survey sites I recommend here.

What I Liked

Pay You For Trying

If you are familiar with survey sites you know that when a site sends you a survey you still have to answer questions to see if you qualify for the survey. Most of us waste a ton of time doing this when taking surveys so it can be extremely frustrating. Luckily ACO will actually pay you for taking the time to try to qualify for the survey. It ranges anywhere from $.05 to $.50 which is way more than the $.00 I’m used to earning.

Bonuses

Along with getting paid for trying to take a survey, ACO will also give you bonuses for taking long surveys (over 30 minutes) not only do you get paid for taking the survey, but you will also earn some type of bonus. The bonus is usually extra points, a free product to test, cash, or a gift.

What I Didn’t Like

Payments

I am a huge fan of getting paid by PayPal, but ACO does not offer that option. They only pay by Check and the minimum cash out amount is 1000 points or $10. Payments are processed at the end of each month and checks are usually received by the 15th.

They do always pay you, but unfortunately it has to be by check and you have to wait a bit.

Referral Program

American Consumer Opinion does offer a referral program, but it’s separate from your ACO account. It’s more of what I call an affiliate program. Instead of earning a percentage of your referrals earnings you will earn $.50 for each referral that signs up and completes their profile.

I don’t mind earning $.50 per sign up it just kinda sucks that it’s a separate program from the ACO taking survey site.

Point System

I still don’t understand why sites use point systems, but at least ACO does make it easy. 1 point is worth 1 cent so it’s basically like having $1.50 if you have 150 points. The minimum cash out amount is $10 so you need 1000 points to cash out.

Not Enough Surveys

One problem that I saw with ACO is the don’t send out that many surveys and if your someone who wants to sit down a couple of times a week and take as many surveys as you can then this site won’t work well for you. The surveys are usually only open for a day or two and need to be completed when you receive them.

Final Verdict

I gave American Consumer Opinion a decent score and found that they are completely legit, but I feel like there are better sites out there. The reason for this is I don’t like waiting on checks, I don’t like point systems, and some people can’t take surveys when a random email comes in, they have to set aside a part of their day to complete it.

Don’t get me wrong ACO is completely legit and will pay you. It’s not that I don’t recommend joining ACO I just think you should try some other sites first. To see the sites I recommend visit All Scam Free Survey Sites.
