Giving Assistant Review: Cash Back At Amazon!

giving assistant review: Is it a scam or a legit way to get cash back at amazonA few weeks back I came across a super cool site called Giving Assistant and decided to write this review. If you’re familiar with Ebates, you’re already know how the process works.

Giving Assistant will pay you when shopping online at over 1,000 stores including Amazon.

The impressive thing about Giving Assistant is you can choose to be paid via a few methods, or you can donate your earnings to charity, and for every qualifying purchase they’ll donate a meal to charity!

In this review, I’ll cover what stores are available, how to get paid, and all the important details of Giving Assistant!

What Stores Are Available?

Giving Assistant has over 1,000 stores that it will pay you cash back to. Obviously, I’m not going to list them all, so if you’d like to see the full list visit their website.

But here’s some of the more notable stores: Amazon, Target, Macy’s, Lowe’s, Kmart, Groupon, and many many more.

Any site that you can think of is available on Giving Assistant.

Most stores pay from 2-10%, but some pay 50-80% cash back. Of course, these stores aren’t as popular, but most items that you’re looking for can be found on a site that has a huge cash back amount.

One awesome thing is that Giving Assistant pays 5% cash back at Amazon, which is usually hard to find on most cashback sites!

How Does Giving Assistant Pay?

There are a few ways to get paid by Giving Assistant. For every cashout method, the minimum amount is $5. Once you earn $5 in cash back you can cash out via PayPal, Direct Deposit, Check, or Donation to Charity.

The payment frequency is different for each, so I listed them below:

Direct Deposit: Cash out at anytime

PayPal: Pays monthly at the end of each month

Mailed Check: They send out checks quarterly, and checks could take up to 15 days to receive.

If you choose to donate your earnings to charity you can do that at any time. If you want to get paid, I recommend Direct Deposit or PayPal because they are much faster than a mailed check!

Coupons For More Savings At Giving Assistant

Not only can you get cash back at over 1,000 stores, but Giving Assistant also gives you coupons to save more when shopping.

If you click on any store, you’ll be taken to a page that shows you all the coupons available for that particular store. Take a look at the coupons before shopping because you may find a coupon code that can save you more.

There’s usually a code for free shipping for stores that don’t usually offer it, so that’s a huge bonus!

How To Earn More With Giving Assistant?

Giving Assistant offers over 1,000 stores to earn cash back at and will also notify you of sales and coupons, but the easiest way to earn more is through their referral program.

You’re given a referral link that you can post on your website, and they also offer easy to share social buttons.

When your referral signs up through you, they will earn $5 just for joining. You’ll also receive $5 once they complete one cash back shopping trip.

There’s no limit to how many people you can refer, but you won’t receive your $5 until 60 days after they complete their first shopping trip.

It should be pretty easy to get referrals since they earn a free $5 just for joining through you!

Is Giving Assistant Legit Or A Scam?

Giving Assistant is completely legit and a scam free way to get cash back for your online shopping. I like that they offer multiple ways to get paid and that they have a low $5 cash out amount.

If you’re a charitable person, you can even donate your earnings to charity, but if you choose cash Giving Assistant will still give a meal to poverty.

If you’re looking to get paid cash back for your online shopping, Giving Assistant is a great option. You can earn $5 instantly by joining Giving Assistant here.

If you’re looking to get paid for all your shopping check out this list of over 15 sites and apps that pay you to shop. Personally, I prefer Ebates, but all are great options to earn cash back!

If getting paid to shop isn’t for you, here’s some other great ways to earn an extra income online. Don’t forget to see how I make a full-time income online with My #1 Recommendation!

  1. It seems like to really make it worthwhile you would have to spend a lot of money shopping. I try to limit my spending. So this seems like something that would take up a lot of time and effort for very little gain. Also, to have money deposited, bank or paypal? I’d have to give personal numbers, which I don’t like doing.

  2. Giving asssistant scam BEWARE

I was looking to make a big purchase and looking on many sites that gives cash back i was lured by giving assistant that shows on their site and on their app that would give 10% back while others would give 5% or less. Little that i knew that was a big bait and switch and ended up having no cash back at all. I contacted them and told them that on their site was showing 10% cash back and nowhere on their site says otherwise. Their response was to read the privacy and policy of the site i bought from and not theirs. I think this is very misleading since they are the one providing the service of giving me 10% cash back and not the site i bought from. For me this is a big deal false advertisement and i think people should be well aware of this scam on this site.
