SnapStar App Review: Paid To Shop Scam?

Learn How You Can Earn $1 Amazon Gift Cards By Showing Loyalty to Your Favorite Brands with the SnapStar App!SnapStar is no longer available, check out these sites that pay me each month!

SnapStar is a paid to shop app that’s very similar to a brand loyalty app. It seems to be a legitimate app, but in my opinion, I prefer Ibotta over this app.

With that being said, today I’d like to cover the SnapStar app and show you how you can earn gift cards for being loyal to your favorite brands.

In this review I’ll show you how Snapstar works, how to get paid, the complaints I have with this app, and if this app is a scam!

SnapStar App Review

snapstar app reviewApp: SnapStar

Type: Paid To Shop

Verdict: Legitimate

In this SnapStar App Review, I marked them legitimate. Overall the app is decent as long as you purchase products from the available brands. If you don’t typically buy their products, this app won’t be worth using.

What I highly recommend is joining Ibotta uploading your receipts there to earn more and then using SnapStar if you’ve purchased anything from the brands available.

This will maximize your earnings because the SnapStar app won’t make you much.

Again, SnapStar is legitimate but is a very small income. It’s up to you to decide if it’s worth the time to scan receipts.

How Does SnapStar Work?

1) Sign Up For Free

The first step is to sign up for SnapStar for free by visiting SnapStar.me or just downloading the app in the app store. It takes less than a few minutes to sign up.

2) Upload Receipts For Brands Available

Once you’re inside the app, you’ll see all of the available brands. At the time of this review, you can earn for purchasing products from Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Nabisco, Purina, Kellogg’s, Campbell’s, Kraft, Huggies, and Lay’s but I’m sure more will be added soon!

When you make a purchase with one of the companies listed above from any store, you can take a picture of the receipt inside the app.

Within 24 hours SnapStar will confirm the receipt and add the purchased items towards your gift card.

3) Meet the Required Number of Items

Each brand has a specific number of items you must buy before you earn a $1 Amazon gift card. At this time, all of the brands range from 15-30 items.

Continue to upload receipts from your shopping until you can reach the required number of items to claim your gift card!

4) Get Paid!

Once you reach the item amount, you’ll get paid a $1 Amazon gift card for your brand loyalty!

How Does SnapStar Pay?

As mentioned in the last section, once you reach the number of items per brand you’ll unlock a $1 Amazon gift card. I can’t find any information on how long it takes to get your gift card.

SnapStar Complaints

15-30 Items for $1

Most of the brands require you to purchase 15-30 of their products before you earn a $1 Amazon gift card. Obviously, unless you already buy their products, it won’t be worth switching.

If you already buy their products, I guess it’s worth it but it still takes the time to scan all of the receipts for just $1.

App Has Changed

SnapStar hasn’t been around for very long, and it’s changed a few times. It’s back to offering guaranteed gift cards if you purchase so many products, but at one time they switched to earn points which you can exchange for sweepstake entries.

They caught a lot of negative reviews to the switch and have switched back so hopefully, the guaranteed rewards are here to stay.

Is SnapStar A Scam?

SnapStar is no longer available, check out these sites that pay me each month!

The SnapStar app is not a scam, but I’m not really sure it’s worth the time to scan all of your receipts just to earn $1 Amazon gift cards. With that being said, the app is completely legitimate.

If you’d like to learn more or to join, visit SnapStar.com or download the app on your phones app store.

Personally, I prefer the Ibotta app. You do have to purchase specific items, but the payouts for rebates are much higher than just $1 Amazon gift cards for 15-30 items. Make sure to check out my Ibotta review to learn more.
