OpinionSite Review: Paid To Share Your Opinion Scam?

Did you know you can get paid to share your opinion of products and companies at OpinionSite. Take Surveys To Get Paid $10 Via Check!OpinionSite is a small new survey company that pays you to share your opinion. I decided to write a review of OpinonSite because there’s not much information about it and I want my readers to know if it’s legitimate.

I have to say up front, I’m not a fan of Opinion Site, but I can’t call this site a scam. If you earn enough points taking surveys, you’ll get paid your earnings via check.

I do have some major complaints that I’ll share with you in this review, so if you’re thinking about joining OpinionSite continue reading to learn more before joining.

In this OpinionSite Surveys Review I’ll cover how the site works, how much you’re paid, the complaints I have, and if it’s legitimate!

OpinionSite is not a site I recommend. Make sure to check out the Extra Income Sites That Pay Me!

In no way will taking surveys online ever make you a large income, and it’s usually a terrible hourly rate! If you’re interested in making a full-time income online, check out My #1 Recommendation, it’s how I made over $13,000 online last month!

OpinionSite Surveys Review

OpinionSite Review Is it a scam or legitimate paid survey siteSite: OpinionSite

Type: Surveys

Verdict: Not Recommended

In this OpinionSite Surveys Review, I gave them an okay score but did mark it legitimate. Opinionsite doesn’t differ from most stereotypical survey sites. They send surveys to your email; you try to qualify, if you do you earn points, and you eventually cash out points for rewards.

Although OpinionSite is legitimate, I don’t recommend using this site; I know that I won’t be using this site to make money online.

If you’d like to see the survey sites I do use to make money online, take a look at these Extra Income Sites.

How Does OpinionSite Surveys Work?

OpinionSite works similar to most paid survey sites. Here’re the steps you’ll take to get paid to take surveys.

Join OpinionSite & Complete Profile

The first step is to join OpinionSite; you’ll be taken to a page where you’ll fill out some information about yourself. This is a profile survey that you’ll need to complete before you get survey invitations.

You will earn 1,400 points (need 14,000 points to cash out) for completing the profile survey.

Wait For Survey Invitations Via Email

Once you’re a member, you’ll start to receive survey invitations via email. Each email will have a link to a survey, just because you receive a survey via email does not mean you’ll qualify and get paid for taking the survey.

If you do qualify, the survey will pay you 500-2000 points, which will be added to your account balance upon completion of the survey.

Cash Out Points For Rewards

Once you take some surveys, you’ll be able to redeem your points for rewards. At this time I see the only reward is a $10 mailed check that cost 14,000 points.

How Does OpinionSite Pay?

As mentioned, at this time OpinionSite only pays via mailed check. Once you earn 14,000 points, you’ll receive a $10 check.

Payments are not quick; they say checks can take up to 6-8 weeks to arrive!

OpinionSite Surveys Complaints

You Have To Qualify

If you’ve taken paid surveys before, you’ve had to answer questions before taking a survey to make sure you qualify. If OpinionSite sends a survey to your email, you still have to answer questions and qualify for the survey to receive any reward.

I’ve heard from some members that they occasionally get kicked out of the middle of a survey for not qualifying; that’s after they’ve already spent 10 minutes or more filling out the survey.

Having to qualify for surveys, isn’t anything new, but there is one site called PaidViewpoint that only sends you surveys you’re pre-qualified for! Make sure to check it out.

Checks Only

Where’s the PayPal or direct deposit!?! I’m not a fan of any extra income sites that only pay via mailed check. Most of the survey sites I recommend either pay by e-gift card or have cash options such as PayPal or Direct Deposit.

I guess money is money, but just know that the check is going to take forever to arrive. You won’t be making much with this site, but make sure you don’t rely on this income for any bills.

Is OpinionSite Surveys A Scam?

After researching and using OpinionSite for a bit, it’s not a survey site that I will ever use.

I don’t like survey sites that have point systems, pay by check, and require you to spend tons of time qualifying for surveys. Although OpinionSite is legitimate, I think there are much better options out there to take paid online surveys and make an extra income. 1. The site is definitely a scam. They owe me $500 for a survey I completed but never paid. I will definitely send them to my junk folder and hope no one else gets burned.

    • Thanks for sharing Rich, it’s not a site I recommend by any means.

Are you saying they claimed that a survey paid $500? Or you completed $500 worth of surveys.

If they said they’d pay you $500 for a survey you need to stay far away. Legitimate survey sites pay $.50-$2.50 for most surveys.

  2. I have completed multiple surveys and am owed ~$200.00. They do not respond to e-mails or messages through their website when I questions them about what they owe. I would not recommend doing survey’s through their site until they remedy this problem. There are multiple similar reviews with similar complaints. Don’t waste your valuable time.

  3. This site is definitely a scam. Don’t waste your time and energy on it!! I have done a job in June, and though processing time is supposed to be 6 weeks, and after multiple emails, they are pretending to reissue me another gift card but no traces yet. Interestingly enough, they keep sending me emails to do more jobs which I have certainly declined.
