Another route you can take is to click here. This link will take you to a page where you will see the current openings. They currently have 3 jobs listed:

  • Virtual Marketing Assistant

  • California Transactional Paralegal

All are posted as “Remote Jobs.” When you do it this way, you can go into the job to see more about the job, including hours and pay. And you can apply directly for that specific job. When you click apply from this point, the process is still very simple: name, email, phone, and upload resume and cover letter.

How Much Does Equivity Pay?

The Virtual Marketing Assistant job that is currently posted says the starting pay is $15 per hour. You will be hired as a part-time employee, not an independent contractor. So your taxes should be taken out for you.

Starting pay for the Paralegal jobs is $17.50 per hour. In this job you are also hired as a part-time employee of Equivity, not an independent contractor.

When Does Equivity Pay?

Since Equivity is hiring you as a part-time employee, versus an independent contractor, you will likely enjoy a regular payment schedule. For most companies, that means you’ll get paid every 2 weeks or twice a month.

Equivity Schedule

The Marketing Assistant job wants you to have 20 hours per week availability. The Paralegal jobs require 15-20 hours per week, with the ability to move up to 30 hours per week. For all of their jobs, you need to be able to respond to client needs within 1 hour, between the hours of 9 AM and 6 PM, Monday through Friday.

Equivity Feedback

I can’t believe this, but I couldn’t find ANY feedback from current or former Equivity employees. This is odd. Normally if I can’t find it on Glassdoor, I can go to a Work at Home Forum to find something or even something from another blogger. Equivity has their jobs posted on Indeed, and they don’t even have any feedback.

They have a Facebook presence, speaking to both potential customers and employees.

Is Working For Equivity a Scam?

Based on my research, Equivity is not a scam. They might not have employees leaving feedback, but everything points to legit. If you have the required skills and want to give virtual assisting a try, this could be a good gig to get some experience under your belt. If you want to apply, start here to see what’s available.
