Here at Full-Time Job From Home, I’m a huge fan of making extra money online with survey sites and other reward sites. I make most of my extra income by taking advantage of referral programs.
Most Paid Survey sites have referral programs, but they are not all created equal. I’ve put together a list of the top 5 best-paid survey referral programs, and the best part is they’re all great sites to take surveys on.
In this post, I’ll go over the referral programs of each site and tell you what I look for in referral programs to give you an idea of what’s best if you decide to promote other extra income sites. You can join any of the sites below and start referring your friends for cash or check out my full review to learn more about the paid survey sites.
Please understand to earn a huge income from referral programs you need a way to get hundreds a month, even if the referral program is great and you refer 10 people a month you won’t earn much. Check out My #1 Recommendation, it’s how I made over $13,000 online last month and it’s how I get all of my referrals!
What I Look For In A Referral Program
When choosing a paid survey site to promote, there’re a few things that I look for. First off, it needs to be completely free to join for you and all of your referrals! The next thing is getting paid a set amount up front without the referral having to do much. For instance, earning $1 or some points just for confirming their email or completing one survey.
The truth is that most referrals will never use the site more than once. It’s great to know you’re still earning even if they don’t use the site consistently after signing up.
The next thing I look for is a percentage of referrals earnings. This is how most sites are set up, where you’ll earn 5, 10, 15, or 20% of all your referrals earnings. I like to promote sites that have some money given after sign up and a high percentage of earnings.
You’ll see on this list that each either offers a high commission on earnings, a set amount for joining, or both.
Overrated Parts of Referral Programs
Here’re a few things that don’t concern me when looking for referral programs, but I guess it’s just a bonus if they offer it.
The first is multiple tiers. This means you might earn 20% of your referrals earnings and 10% of their referrals earnings. Meaning you can earn from other people referring members.
I’ve been involved with a few referral programs like this, and it seems that most members never refer a friend and don’t have a good way to get referrals. For this reason, the income from multiple tiers never seems to be much.
The next thing is sweepstakes entries. I seriously HATE sweepstakes. I do not want to be part of a referral program that gives me a chance to win sweepstakes. I’m looking for programs that give me cold hard cash for referring members, not a chance of winning.
Top 5 Paid Survey Refer A Friend Programs
Fusion Cash
Fusion Cash is by far my favorite paid survey site referral program. Here’re the details
- $1 per referral (after they confirm their email)
- $2 once they complete first offer/survey
- $5 every time your referral cashes out
As you can see you won’t earn a percentage of earnings, but you can easily make $3 a referral when they join. Most referrals confirm their email address and probably half complete at least one offer or survey.
Only 10%-15% will ever reach the cashout amount realistically, but it’s a huge payment when it does happen.
I currently make around $200 a month from promoting Fusion Cash, and it’s a pretty easy site to promote.
TIP: If you have the ability to get over 100 referrals a month they have an affiliate program that can help you earn more.

CashCrate – No Longer Available
CashCrate is my second favorite paid survey site to promote, but there’re a few different levels that unlock more earnings. Everyone starts out at as a bronze member and as you earn and refer more people you’ll earn more. You can reach Silver, the next level, after referring 50 friends or earning $50. I’m going to cover the referral program as if you’ve already reached Silver. Here’re the details:
- Earn $1 per signup or $3 when they reach $10
- 20% of all referrals earnings
- 10% of all 2nd level referrals earnings
I highly recommend choosing $1 every time some signs up. You’ll earn more this way; most members will never make it to the $10 mark.
I mentioned different levels; basically the levels unlock higher percentage of earnings. The highest level, elite, is where I’m at and I earn a $1 sign up bonus, 30% on my referrals, and 20% on 2nd level referrals.
CashCrate is an easy site to promote and I usually make $75-$100 a month promoting this survey site

Brand Institute
Unfortunately, you have to be an active member of the site for a full six months before having access to the referral program. But the payments are so good I had to put it on the list. Brand Institute specializes in medical surveys but also has normal surveys. Here’re the details of the referral program.
- $5 For every nonmedical survey taken
- $10 for every medical survey taken
Yes, your referrals will have to take surveys to earn you money, but the pay on surveys are very high, and the referral earnings for each survey is huge!
I know if you’re looking for a site that you can promote now, this won’t be a good option for you, but it’s an excellent site to promote once you have the ability!

InstaGC
InstaGC is another great option. I just started promoting this site, so my income isn’t as big as some of the other sites, but it’s still an easy site to promote with some good advantages. Here’re the details:
- You’ll earn 10 points ($.10) when a referral confirms their email
- You’ll earn 10% of your referrals earnings for life
I know the bonus for joining and percentage isn’t as high as the other sites on this list, but it’s still a great site, and I like the bonus of just confirming your email.
Like I said, I just started promoting this site, so my monthly income is just $10-$20 a month, but it’s still a program with good possibilities.

Swagbucks
Swagbucks is one of the easiest sites to promote because it’s probably the most well-known site out there. They offer a referral program that’s not bad, but since it’s easy to get referrals you can make some good money. Here’re the details:
- 10%* of all referrals earnings
- Earn 300 Swagbucks when your referral earns 300. (300=$3)
As you can see it’s not the highest paying referral program, but I put the * on 10% because I’ve seen this change a few times over the course of my membership. I’ve seen it up at 20% from time to time.
You can also earn a $3 bonus when your referral earns $3. For some reason, compared to other sites, more members reach the $3 mark in my experiences.
With the Swagbucks referral program, I make $50-$75 a month.
