RewardBee is a new rewards site that claims to give you rewards for sharing your opinion through surveys. At least at this time, the only reward options available are magazine subscriptions so you can probably guess I’m not going to be a huge fan of this site.

In this RewardBee review, I marked them legitimate, but it’s not a site I’m going to recommend. They promise magazine subscriptions in exchange for your opinion, and that’s exactly what they do, but in my opinion, only having magazines as your form of payment is not worth it.
If they change their rewards to gift cards and cash, this might be a site I’d use, but at this time I recommend these Extra Income Sites that Pay Me Each Month!
How RewardBee Works
1) Join For Free
Signing up for RewardBee is completely free and only takes a few seconds. You can do so by visiting RewardBee.com.
2) Complete Surveys For Points
Once you’re inside and signed up, you can see a long list of surveys you can complete for points. At this time all the surveys available pay 30 points which will get you 1-3 magazine subscriptions.

All you need to do is click on a survey and take it. From what I’ve seen most surveys are around 10-15 questions and don’t that long. After completing a survey, points will be added to your account shortly after.
3) Exchange Points For Magazine Subscriptions
Most surveys pay 30 points, and most magazines cost 10-30 points. That means after taking one survey, you’ll be able to exchange your points for at least one magazine.
RewardBee Rewards
The only reward option at RewardBee is digital or mailed magazine subscriptions. Most of the rewards are 12-24 issues and cost $10-$30 worth of points (most surveys pay $30 points.)
Digital subscriptions will be emailed to you as soon as the next magazine is released and mailed magazines might take 8-16 weeks to arrive.
At this time they have a total of 71 different magazine subscriptions to choose from.
RewardBee Complaints
Crap Rewards
Really the biggest complaint that I have with RewardBee is the rewards. They are honestly legitimate because they say they will pay you to take surveys with magazine subscriptions and that’s exactly what they do.
In my opinion, that’s not a good reward option for your opinion when other sites will pay you cash, and I think a lot of people will agree. If you’re looking for a rewards site that pays gift cards or cash check out the Extra Income Sites I Use.
Giving Out Your Information
Part of taking surveys is giving out your information, which can be an issue for some people. Every time you take a survey at reward bee, you’ll give them your full name and address, and some of the survey questions can get a bit personal.
This won’t be a concern to some but just know that RewardBee is in the business of collecting information about you in exchange for a magazine subscription.
No Referral Program
One of my favorite ways to make money with extra income sites is by referring others. Most extra income sites have a referral program where you earn a percentage of what your referral makes but RewardBee does not have a referral program.
If you enjoy referring friends and having them earn money for you, RewardBee won’t be for you, but make sure to check out the Extra Income sites with the best referral programs!
Is RewardBee a Scam?
RewardBee is not a scam; I like that they say they have more ways to earn coming soon, but I don’t see anything about updating their rewards. Until they have gift cards or cash payments, it’s not a site I would ever recommend.

Reward Bee is technically not a scam, but close to it. The surveys are very short. The magazine selection rewards are a few good ones and the rest junk. In July 2019 I cashed my $30 for Real Simple, Elle, and Time. Instead they sent me Better Homes & Garden, Parents (I have no children), and I never received Time. I sent them an email and questioned this and was told they had the right to make substitutions. In another survey (yes, I tried again) I again ordered Real Simple, but it was blocked because I had already ordered it. I again sent them an email questioning this and never got a return.
Now they have my email and am concerned about what they will with it. This is definitely and bait and switch scam.

This company has signed up my email address under a fake name and will not respond to my multiple complaints and requests for them to stop spamming me and delete the fake account that was created using my personal email address.
What does it take to get this company to comply with the law?

Are there any unsubscribe buttons in the emails that they are sending you?
That’s usually the best place to start.
You can also block email address based on what email provider you use, a quick Google should show you how to do that.

Reward Bee doesn’t always give you the magazines you request. Their surveys are easy to fill out and they give you lots of reward money but the magazine rewards can be worthless if you don’t get the magazine you want. Plus the rewards are limited & it is difficult to use the “cash” they give you–Not enough magazines offered.

This is very true. I have been taking surveys with Reward Bee for a couple of years now and I would estimate that less than 50% of the magazines I chose were the actual ones I requested. In some cases the points I redeemed didn’t result in anything. Attempts to contact the company resulted in no resolution and the customer service attitude and approach were way below what should be standard. I do get the magazines I want sometimes though which is why I keep doing it. I just throw the others away.
