If you’re a coupon user, I have a perfect site for you called CouponChief that can help you save money and make money! CouponChief has a Pay 2 Share program that pays you to upload coupons for other users to redeem.
One thing you should know right away is that the Pay 2 Share program is only available for US members and you’ll need a PayPal account to get paid! You should also know that you’ll need to upload coupons that are brand new to earn any money with this program. If this doesn’t sound like it’s for you, here’re some other ways to get paid to use coupons.
In this CouponChief Review I’ll cover exactly how the Pay 2 Share program works, some important information you should know, and the complaints I have with this program.
CouponChief Pay 2 Share Review
Site: CouponChief
Price: Free
Score: 80 out of 100
Verdict: Legitimate
In this CouponChief review, I gave them a good score and marked it legitimate. To me, this site isn’t going to be a huge money maker, and there’re some earning restrictions. With that being said, there’re not many other sites out there that will pay you to submit coupon codes.
Overall it seems to be a pretty unique place that virtually anyone can make money with. The key is going to be finding and uploading coupons before anyone else does. If you can get good at this, there’s no reason why you can’t make some extra income with this site.
How Does CouponChief Work?
Find Coupon Codes and Add Them
The first step is to find coupon codes to upload at CouponChief. Once a coupon has been submitted no one else can add that coupon, so you’ll need to find coupons that no one has added. Once you find a coupon code, you can easily add it by typing in the code, coupon amount, and what store.
Earn 2% of Each Coupon Use
Once you’ve uploaded your coupon all you need to do is sit back and relax. You’ll receive 2% of each order that uses the coupon code you submitted.
There’s a delay on earnings, they say they’ll show up in your account within two weeks but usually sooner.
Wait For Funds To Become Available
After some users have used your coupon and the funds, have been added to your account you’ll need to wait 30 days before the funds are available for cash out. You’ll also need to build up a balance of $25 before cashing out.
Cash Out Your Earnings
Once you’ve earned $25 and all funds, have passed the 30-day holding period you can cash out via PayPal. Payments are made twice a month around the 1st and 15th.
Important Pay 2 Share Information
There’re a few things you should be aware of inside the Pay 2 Share program, so I wanted to cover them separately. Some of this information might be repeated, but I want to make sure it’s clear.
- Coupon Must Be New To Be Accepted (No One Else Has Added It)
- $25 Per Store Limit (Can only earn $25 at each store per month)
- All funds are held for 30 days before available for cash out
- Not all stores are available in the Pay 2 Share Program
- You can use your own coupons and still get paid!
That pretty much covers the important information about this program, but if you’re still confused you can check out the CouponChief FAQs.
How Does CouponChief Pay?
CouponChief pays via PayPal once your account reaches $25. Funds usually update in your account balance within a few days, but can take up to two weeks. After that, there’s a 30-day holding period before the funds become available for cash out.
Once you cash out your payment, it’s processed on or a few days after the 15th or last day of the month. They do say that PayPal may take a fee, but I’m not for sure if they do.
CouponChief Complaints
Codes have Already Been Used
The whole key to this site is adding coupon codes before anyone else does. Once one person adds a code, it’s not available for anyone else to add. As you can imagine, it’s pretty hard to get coupons that have not been submitted.
On their website, they recommend checking out your emails from companies that include coupon codes. That’s probably the easiest/quickest way to find a coupon code that no one has used yet.
Holding Period For Payments
Your earnings do take a few days to show up in your account, which is fine, not a huge deal, but after they’re added to your account, there’s a 30-day holding period before your funds are available for cash out.
Your income from this site probably won’t be big, so it’s not a huge deal, but just know that you’ll be waiting for your money. Don’t rely on this income to pay any bills. CouponChief should be used for extra supplemental income only!
Is CouponChief A Scam?
The pay 2 share program at CouponChief is not a scam. I’ve seen proof of many people making a decent income with this site each month. The whole key to the program is uploading coupon codes before anyone else does.
It does suck that funds are held for 30 days, and there’re some earning limits, but as long as you know this is going to be “extra income” you should be pretty happy with this program.

Are you a member of the CouponChief Pay 2 Share Program? I’d love to hear about your experiences below!
I’ve loved couponchief for the last 7 months but now all of a sudden my checks arent being printed! They also dont appear to have customer service! BOO 🙁
The only problem they may pay you a bit but their system is terrible . They rank their coupons by who pays the most not by best coupon or by most reliable coupon. So I may submit some there but I cetainly wont use any of their coupons by rating system
Well, this does seem like a legitimate system, but it doesn’t really seem worthwhile. Most of these types of schemes don’t pay much money, so they are not really for people serious about making money online. Actually, I am surprised you gave it a score as high as 80% since your site is called “Full-Time Job From Home”. If your website is about earning full-time money, you shouldn’t really be ranking a system like this as 80 out of 100 if it can’t earn you full-time money. Just my opinion, though.
Hey Marcus,
Thanks for reading my CouponChief Review. You’re right that this is just an extra income opportunity which I make clear in the review.
As an extra income opportunity it’s a unique way to earn and is completely legitimate. But as you say if you’re looking for a full time income, this would not be a good site to get involved with.
If you’re looking for a full time income check out my Work at Home job board or how to start your own online business.
Hopefully this clears it up and thanks for expressing your opinion,

Thank you for your post about making extra money through coupon chief. I am given to understand that coupons need to be uploaded to a site. What I would like to know is: Each week or so, I receive a kind of a newspaper that has tons of coupons for stores such as Giants, Acme etc., which is delivered to my house. Can those be used? And secondly, must they be scanned and uploaded? Thanks.
Hey Rodney,
Unfortunately in store coupons do not apply with this program, but I guess if you find any online coupons that have coupon codes on them in what’s mailed to you, then you could add them on Coupon Chief.
I honestly don’t think there will be many if any in there, but check it out next time to see!
Hopefully this clears the Pay 2 Share program up for you

CouponChief sounds interesting. I like this idea because I always have something to shop for, I guess everyone does. Why not get some benefit for shopping for things I would be purchasing anyway.
Also, I do like PayPal. PayPal is gaining incredible traction worldwide.
There are so many interesting ways to make money these days.
Thanks for introducing me to this.
Thanks for reading my CouponChief Review. It is a very intersting program to make some extra money with and yes, PayPal is by far my favorite way to get paid online!
Thank you again for checking out my review
