The AppDown App is an app available on IOS devices and in the Google Play Store that pays you to download apps on your mobile device. It’s available in over 100 countries and offers payments via my favorite way to get paid, PayPal.
Getting paid to download apps is not a new concept. I’ve reviewed many similar apps in the past, my favorite being Feature Points.
Like all the others, it’s much easier to use if you have access to the Google Play Store, but it still works on IOS devices.
In this AppDown Review, I’ll cover how the app works, how to get paid, the complaints I have, and if this app is a scam!

Verdict: Legitimate
In this AppDown review, I marked it legitimate. This app will pay you to download apps, but you need to understand it’s just a small extra income. You won’t get rich downloading apps.
I like that they have PayPal as a payment option, and it’s available in many countries.
Overall a really good app, but I think I still prefer Feature Points over it.
How Does AppDown Work?
1) Download AppDown
If you’re on an Android device, you can just download the app directly from there. If you’re using an IOS device, you’ll need to visit AppDown.Me in Safari (does not work on any other browser).
Once you’re there, you can sign up via Facebook or Email. Enter the referral code: b8asy to earn some free points for signing up!
2) Complete Offers
Once you’re inside, you can see all the ways to earn by download apps. Most apps require you to install the app and open it, but some have additional requirements like reaching a certain level in the game.
You can clearly see the name of the app, requirements, and how much it pays before downloading the app.
At this time there’re about 50 apps you can download for cash. Most pay between 10-400 points which is equivalent to $.03 and $1.33.
You can also earn points by checking in every day, following them on social media, and posting about them on social media.
3) Get Paid!
When you complete an offer, you should see points added to your account within a few minutes. Once you earn $2/600 points you can cash out. Some gift card options don’t start till $5 and $10.
AppDown Rewards
AppDown has a lot of rewards to choose from. You can get paid via PayPal, Amazon, iTunes, eBay, Google Play Store, and a few other gaming gift cards.
The awesome thing is PayPal and Amazon gift cards start at $2 or 600 points, most of the other gift cards start at $5 or $10.
Rewards are pretty much delivered immediately inside the app. If you choose to get paid via PayPal it should show up within 24 hours, but usually much sooner.
*It looks like gift cards are sometimes sold out, but PayPal payments are always available. They do have an option that says email me when the gift card is available again to cash out.
AppDown Referral Program
AppDown does have a referral program that pays you 50% of your referrals earnings for life. They give you an invite code and a link that you can share with your friends.
As long as they use your code when joining, they become your referral, and you earn more!
AppDown App Complaints
Bonuses & Gift Cards Not Available
The only complaint I have with this app is some of the features are not always available. I already mentioned that they sell out of gift cards, but they also have little bonuses that are not always active.
It’s not a huge deal because it’s only a few points, but it’s annoying that you can’t always get gift cards if that’s your preferred method of payment.
Small Extra Income
Obviously, you won’t get rich downloading apps. This can be an easy $10-$30 a month, but don’t expect much more than that. If you’re looking for a larger online income, check out My #1 Recommendation.
Is AppDown A Scam?
AppDown is not a scam; it’s a legitimate app that works well across all devices. One thing that sucks is most of these apps are hard to use on Apple products. AppDown was easy to join and use, but keep in mind you need to use Safari.
